Thank you so much I am glad to that it was built in 69. I'll definantley be going down to the shop to look for that partial VIN. And I will be ordering the paperwork from Sloan. You have been so helpful on my hunt.

I should have said passenger side of the 4 speed for the partial VIN

    and not the driver's side.

It will read something like "40H ( and the some numebrs)". They will be cut into the case vertically.

Send a PM to "motorman" since he had one of those cars he can tell you the facts. I ran Kenne-Bell for 5-6 years and never heard of any Stage 2 car that had been sold complete. It was my understanding that the dealer could order the kit shipped in the trunk of the car, then the dealer could install them. Anyway motorman can help!

Welcome.. Great story, great car.. It'll be interesting how this unfolds. Good optioned car, the picture of the wheel combination looks like true 70's muscle.. I'm interested in the Stage 2 part of the story. Your dad sounds like he was totally into this Buick. Keep the lines of communication moving along, someone on this board will provide your answers. Very cool stuff. Your dad would be very proud of you, best of luck.

Welcome! Very cool story!!! Keep talking with these guys and you will get the answers you need.

I think that your idea to let the ashes out the back of the car as speed is great! That is how I would want my ashes to be spread being a Buick guy myself!
