Hello all, Dream car is a 1970 Buick "a" body convertible. Would love it to have GS hood and grill. I am going to do an LS engine swap and take it pro touring. So, I don't care about engine or transmission. Just want a good foundation. A roller would be GREAT! I do NOT want a numbers matching GS well restored car! Maybe a base Skylark. I would NOT want to molest a good one! Alternate choices are a 1969 or 1970 Chevelle convertible.(maybe a 68 if price is right) I have a large family so I would prefer a bench seat car! The search is on! Thanks, SteveO
I have a real 1970 GS 455 convertible project car Rust Free form Montana Email me for pics and detail rich@purestockauto.com
Still on the hunt for the 1970 convertible... Starting to stray from the ls conversion after talking to so many of y'all! So, let me know if you know of one...GS is preferred but will look at a skylark. Needs to have front bench with armrest! Thanks, Steve
There is a guy selling a roller GS 455 right down the road from you in Belton, TX (N I-35 then head west on HWY 190 only about 45-60 min from you) I was gonna buy it from him a few months back, but we couldn't agree on a price. It's still there, saw it Sunday...pretty good shape too. Red, black GSX type stripes, white interior.
Just curious if anyone knows this car... http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_detail.cfm?LOT_ID=HA0412-124430&entryRow=20&lottype= I am thinking about going and bidding on it next weekend. Let me know, Steve
