Hello, New to the site and need help with a '70 Skylark Custom Convertible. Where can I look for a chrome "Custom" emblem that goes on the door panel? RobMcIn
Post a picture. does it look like this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-1971-BUIC...ash=item3d0d74562d:g:i0UAAOSwHnFVx4mu&vxp=mtr
This is the one I have if you are interested! I only have one! $25.00 plus shipping! Thanks Ron http://www.v8buick.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=326229&stc=1&d=1453068926
No, it is a cursive logo. I will take a picture of the one on the passage side that I do have. Thanks,
Your best bet is to post in "Parts Wanted" and include a picture of the emblem. It isn't reproduced so you'll need to get it from a member that possibly has it.
If Bruno turns up empty, I know I have two. In 1970, It should have the script logo, not the square one.
The ones in my picture are "70 parts. You can see that the door panel material - that the emblem is still attached to, is the '70 waffle material. I think some are cursive script, too. Perhaps different trim levels or different assembly plants used different emblems. Mine are Flint plant parts.
I don't have them,so others have said they have them. For the 71,like the picture shown,I have 3 sets, they say [Skylark Custom ]and then I have the same one,but this says GS,same size and same look as the other one.Bruno.
It looks like John and Matt might have what I am looking for. Let me know if you are interested in selling one or the pair. Rob Mc crmcardle@sbcglobal.net
Rob, These are the ones I have. Both appear to be in good shape, but one of them has half of a pin broken off. If you're still interested, you can send me a PM.
