Description says rim blow steering wheel , right hand outside mirror , Buick road wheels Don't see any of those . Beautiful deluxe interior with 3 rd seat , great looking paint and what do you say about the engine compartment , doesn't look like the same car. Bill
Some people only look and can clean the parts of the car they look at. My engine compartment looks great, but the rest of the car, not so much. This car, the opposite. AWESOME CAR! And a 1970 455 to boot.
That brings back memories.. A buddy and I bought one of those to swap the motor into his 73 Stage 1 Riv here back in about 84... very similar to this car, a bit of rust, but nothing major. Same miles.. But we paid $400 bucks for it.. stole the engine and trans, and then sent the rest of it to the wrecking yard. No idea it would ever be worth 14K... I told him.. Keep the OE motor, even in high school, I knew his non GS, but factory equipped Stage 1 Riv would be worth something someday.. we put it on a roller cart, and stored it next to the garage, and threw a heavy tarp over it.. Motor swap was a great success, and some time later I was at his house.. and noticed his original motor was gone.. his reply: " Ya, the casters were sinking into the blacktop, so my dad made me sell it.. I got $200 bucks for it..." JW
