Could someone post a picture or pictures of what the screws for the stainless moldings and lower filler on a 70 gs grille look like? Thanks, Tim

Tim, This a a good question I am trying to figure as well. Mine were missing. I did use some stainless screws with a V shaped lower section the fit in the slot for the stainless trim. They look perfect and my guess they are close to original. I am not sure on the lower trim under the grill however. Hopefuly someone with an original can check for us.

The original screws for the "J" moldings are small chrome plated phillips head countersunk screws.

If I remember correctly the ones for the lower "body colored" steel piece are flat head slotted sheet metal screws. It's been years since I have played with them, so someone should check this.

Duane, The countersunk type is what I used in stainless so they look the part of chrome. AMK has them. The lower trim type are the mystery. I used black phillips pan type but I do not think they are correct. They are both #8 size anyway.

I am 98% sure phillips head screws are wrong for that location.
