1970 GS Inlet Grill - Correct Installation

    Forgive what may be a stupid question, but here goes....

    The grilles are for cosmetic purposes only. I'll be attaching them with some speed nuts to my glass hood from Year One. No functioning GS air cleaner below.

    Question is...which is the correct way to mount them? As you know, there are holes in in the grillls. Should these holes be on the interior (closer to the middle of the hood), or exterior (closer to the fenders)?

    I've seen some image shots on Google and seen both....and somebody's wrong, eh? Just want to make sure I get it right the first time.

    Funny thing is - it actually says, LHS, and RHS on the stamp underneath. But...is this "driver view" LHS - or....? :Dou:

    Left and right are defined as if you were sitting in the driver's seat.
