This is a 444 vin#,,, which means it started out as a skylark,, a true GSX IS 446 VIN # there for this is what's referred to as a tribute, clone, replica,, a true 70 GSX would set you back 6 digits easily! This car was restored to high standards, and unless you check vin # you would be hard pressed to know it's not the real deal,,, so if your a #S guy, and a purest move on! I'VE BEEN A DIE HARD BUICK GUY FOR OVER 60 YEAR'S AND KNOW ENOUGH TO WRITE A BOOK ON BUICKS! let me start off with buick only made two colors on 1970 gsx, saturn yellow, and Apollo white,,and they were very low production #s.. ONLY ,a total of 678 were made.. I won't go into a long description on the condition,, other than it's very nice, and all original G.M. sheet metal! Completely redone inside, outside, underneath! Over 60- k invested, with most receipts, 34.500. Calls only. 541-659-8697 for more info,,, no text, no emails, calls only..

Maybe I'm being whatever but I'm sick of seeing cobbled up buicks....either leave them original Ole beaters......day two type builds....or correct not perfect concourse cars but damn it just correct....the info is abundant and free....reminds od seeing these 150k restomods that are done really nice in every way till it come to buying g the wheels and setting the ride height......ja ked up in the front with the cheapest 17s they could find

To pay tribute is to honor something. The way these cars are being done, you’d think it was their bastard child they beat after a night of drinking.

The colors are off just enough to ruin it for me. The flat black stripes are the kicker. I know the hood is supposed to be that way, but the other stripes look way wrong..

Should we be curious about the lack of engine bay pics, and any mention of what the engine even IS?

No pics of the seats either. I see no head rests in one of the pics. The door panels look correct though......

Clone? No. Tribute? Certainly not. An interpretation at best.

    It has a bench seat.

The door panels are correct but the arm rests are not.
