Like many of us, this car grabbed me as a kid and never let go. I finally had a chance to check it out in person at the 2018 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago last month where Brad Conley was gracious enough to let me hang around the car. It's better in person than pics or video for sure! Here's my story....
Watched it yesterday, Kevin. You did a great job. I SO MUCH enjoyed watching you film the interview live at the After Hours MCACN show!
Love this car and it’s history. I’ve had the privilege of seeing it several times. Glad i got to see it and Brad again at the show! Thanks for coming!
The shot of the pictures on your wall was great. I did the same thing! Definitely a generational trait. This car and the black '71 X were also joined on my wall by Jim Turner's (now Pat Sweeny's) Diplomat Blue car - which was also the first time I'd ever seen the Stage 2 - and a few other Buicks.
Kevin, Like you my dad purchased a 71 Skylark post coupe that I learned to drive in and was my 2nd car. That car is what got me into Buicks. Thanks for the video on the 1st GSX. Way cool. Tim
Thanks for sharing that. Loved seeing it close up and I also Liked your childhood wall just like mine was and I still have all the buick magazine pictures from that wall.
Kevin ,thanks for posting this! My brother who is home bound will be able to see this! It was great meeting you and talking with you at the show! Will have to thank Jim for the introduction! I will have to send you some pictures and there was a 65 GS show car also that Buick had prepared!
