Let me start off with,, NO THIS IS NOT A TRUE GSX! If you could even find one, it would be in the 6 digits,,, however this started life as a base skylark,,and received over time a very nice GSX scheme! Over looked by me, and a buick g.s. club member judge! It's done very correctly! If you didn't look @ vin#! you wouldn't know,,other than gsx didn't come with bench seats, column shifters! It currently has the #s matching 350 c.i. with newly rebuilt carburetor, new H.E.I. Billitt

Gaskets, fresh vavoline Oil change, which runs great,,,, but I have a 455 c.i. bored .038 to 462 c.i. with over 15-k in the build,,, aluminum heads, intake, Ross 11.1 compression custom made lite weight pistons,,aluminum Nascar rods, which are streetable,,, T.A. performance 7 quart oil pan, with windage tray, Nodular crank, all Arp bolts through out! Balanced, oil journals enlarged for better oiling,, Eldelbrock aluminum heads, full fulcrum 1.6 ratio roller rockers, reworked high volume melling oil pump, 850 C.F.M. H.P.. carburetor! Solid lifter cam,, T.A. push rods, looking for cam card to get specs! The list goes on! This motor has 30 quarter mile passes on the bottom end. and ran 10:70s,,, in my other 1970 G.S. @ the time it had cast iron stage-1 heads,,and stock shaft mounted rockers,,, with the new Eldelbrock aluminum heads,,and 1.6 full fulcrum, roller rockers, it most definitely will run mid 10s @ 127+ m.p.h. Kills me when guys do this putting in all this time and money to do a so called reproduction. Why not a 455 , console and bucket seats ???
