My old landlord has a 70 LeSabre that he wants to get rid of. He plans on taking it to the crusher soon. Anyone interested in parts? It is a 4 door car with a 350 and a 2 speed trans. He told me he took the car off the road many years ago because the frame rotted out. It has been sitting in the bushes ever since. I haven't seen the car in @ 6 months. All the glass is good. I seem to remember that the door and fenders are ok too. I know the drivers side quarter panel is ruined. Someone was taking a load of cows manure up the hill past the car. They stalled the tractor, and it rolled backwards into the side of the car. The car didn't fair too well with that. I can get some pictures if needed. Let me know if any interest in parts. It will probably be gone in a few days.

    furiousgoat Sold goat, bought Buick!

I'm looking for the vent that is inside the right rear door jamb. I'm not certain but the left and right might be interchangable. It is held in with two screws. Please no cracks:TU:

I would be interested in the passenger fender if still available.

    Dan:

Can I purchase the entire car cheap? I'll haul it out of there for him.

I need all of the front suspension pieces, so it'll be easier for me to just get the car home, cut off the front frame rails and scrap the rest. If you want to sell other parts before I get it, that's ok as long as I get the entire front end.

    Update:

Scott, I think the emblem is gone. I didn't get a good look at it yet, but I didn't see an emblem on the front.

Matt, I didn't try to open the doors yet. I'll be back over there in a few days, and I'll take a better look at it.

Adam, I'll look the fenders over next time over there to see if they are worth getting. I didn't think they were that bad, but a look under them could change that.

Paul, yes it is possible to buy the whole car. I talked to him today, and he would be looking for @ $300 for the whole car as it would bring that much for junk. It does need to be trailered home. He can load it for you with a set of forks on the back of a tractor. I know he said he took it off the road because the frame rotted though. Not sure where. Maybe I can get a look under it for you and let you know better.

    Thanks all,

    Dan:3gears:

I'm very interested. Can you tell me if the entire front suspension is intact and what condition it's in? Also - will the car roll on to a trailer?
