It does seem cheap and I'm torn. I can't take on another car but I have a fondness for the 70 Riv. I think it's the split grille. Curious as to why the carpet in rear is bado No: Also, the timing chain replaced? What prompted that. Something's not adding up but I'll check it out this weekend. Wish me luck

 

Def good luck man. I have to admit, ive never really been a big fan of rivs, but that one looks nice. I like the front as well, grille etc.

On the outside it looks like the twin to mine.

Price seems fair. Even the best '70 Rivs don't fetch the money other 2nd gen Rivs do.

Look for rust on those fender skirts, and on the quarter panel just above them.
Even my Texas / South Dakota car had some rust in those areas.
