    BadBrad Got 4-speed?

What do they charge for the engine? Last one I pulled from a 70 Riv (now in my car) came complete for $90.

I could use the trim around the rear window if it's decent.
Also, this rear bumper to trunk filler.

To answer your questions the yard charges $250.00 for a complete engine. The Riv does not have auto climate control, and the glass trim is junk but I will have to check on the condition of the filler piece the next time I am at the yard.

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

The AC brkt set-up will be an easy resell as long as you get the lower alum AC brkt. Dipstick will also be an easy item to resell.

  8. Interested in rectangular black plastic electrical wiring conduit running under carpet from under brake pedal, passing under drivers side front and rear seats and to trunk / rear seat back area.

    Ashtray assembly?
Thinking of rigging a stereo/CD player into the tray area.

the ash tray is still there. the car still has the skirts but I can't remember what type. the wiring conduit is there but condition is unknown. It may be awhile before I go back to the yard.

Guy down the street from my house just parted a '70 Riv. His handle on Epay is goatdoc. He let me remove the complete disc brake setup including booster and master for $125. The Riv has a posi but don't know what ratio yet. He sold the buckets and console this past summer. No GS emblems on it, but it did have an a/c compressor with the oversized pulley that was used for cars with 3.42 gears. He sold the engine and trans this past summer also.

  12. For Al or Ted - almost forgot would it be possible to get either or both positive battery cables if the hard plastic tunnel is intact? Know this is a royal PIA to get at, so willing to pay accordingly.

The engine is long gone along with battery cable. I believe the Riv is going to the shredder today.

I may have the plastic battery cable plastic holder with the metal bracket in my parts stash so let me look. I will have to check the riv if it is still there.

At the yard today. rear fillers are junk. The skirts are rusted and damaged. The ash tray is gone.

That was a nicely trimmed out Riv GS. Too bad the posi rear could not be saved. But seems it was pretty well stripped including your find of the disc brake set up.

    Thanks for checking though.
Doesn't surprise me about the skirts. They were designed to rust.
