1970 skylark in storage since 1984. very solid worst rust in lower quarters. 45,000 orig mi. runs and drives great. The dealer is asking 3900 but he has had this car for soo long that hes probably oper to offers. I lost his # but can get it if someone is interested. Located in Turrnersville on the black horse pike in NJ.
I looked at this car months ago. Not worth $3900 in my eyes. Engine has a high rpm noise in the valve train. I told him I would give him $2k. Car has no a/c :TU: needs a little work to be driven daily.Dealer doesn't seem to wanna budge on his asking price.
First time I looked at it last year He said he wanted $9,995:shock: . I told him he was crazy and my car wasent even worth that. Just sad to see a fairly solid car rot away.
I have a big block I want to build for a car like this, no a/c, granny kinda car.I try to ride by once in a while to check on it. Its been there for some time now.Think I might stop in soon and make another offer soon. Mike, Nice car,do you go to Fuddruckers in the summer?
Always at fudds when Im not working, but the Buick dosent get any attention at the shows. Just drove by the 1970 and its still there. He wolnt sell it, its just gonna rot there:ball: nice looking rallys that go with it too.
..Ive seen this car ALSO.....Not that bad....He should PUT the RALLYS on it.....Make it a little more APPEALING..BUT..?? H'es the SALESMAN..?? I guess??
maybe we met up there and bring out the older buicks. My car is usually the only NON-t type buick there.
