I'm assuming you're not talking to me? The OP?!! All stuff aside, this is too good a car to scrap. Come and get it!!
Somebody needs to buy this! I know there are shippers that will ship a non-running vehicle, but they are harder to find a bit pricey. I was involved in an old Vette recently that was stored for 25 years and didn't run and brakes were locked up. It had to go from NY to AZ and I was supposed to get it running and fix the brakes, but unfortunately the guy died before just before the car was to come into the shop.
I want this car just trying to figure out how to get it here in Indy. I am working today but will be trying to contact people.
I think you need to clearly state your intentions. As far as I can tell, no one is officially in line yet.
I would hate to get inline then cancel because I can't get it shipped. If I miss out before I get a good lead on shipping so be it, I don't want to hold up progress. Someday a deal like this will fall in my lap and then the rest will be history.
If if if. This would be a perfect addition to my fleet of 70's. I have major plans for a sedan, but with so many other cars in work... I have a complete drivetrain just waiting to go into it. Why oh why did I have to move away from the West coast.ou:
I sent a request for some more pics and answer to his CL ad still have yet to hear back. The shipping is high but the sheet metal replace on a rusty car would be higher. I hope we can work this out.
The horrible thing is I am in the area now and will headed home next week, but I flew out here and have to fly back........ Unless I can find me an old truck to drive back.....
Ryan you want to make the money to drag it back loks like I would be spending 1100 to 1200 for transport I would rather get that money to you
Sorry all, been at work and all. John Kemper, I sent a whole slew of pics to your e-mail address john.kemper@sbcglobal.net. Not right address? Let me know, not ignoring anyone. Response locally has been positive, if someone shows up with cash and a car trailer it's gone! My Craigslist experience has not been poitive though!
What's in the picture in ad, plus front fenders( slightly rusty, from another car ) Hood, front bumper with brackets, I have a correct rear end with locating arms to get rid of the leaf spring rear that's under it now.
Good Point Bob.....As far as I can tell John Staged70 was first to ask for info. It's his if he commits. I just don't want to turn shipping this into a project for me, there's a reason I can't find time to work on these Buicks. If someone locally shows up it will be gone. Staged70 let me know if the pics didn't come through?
my email is buickjohn72@yahoo.com Please send the pics there. I must need to change my email on here.
