We got home Tuesday. Some sleepless nights but overall it’s been manageable. Even got the chance to sneak away for a couple hours and wrap up the door panels

Got both chevelle seats installed to get the final picture before tearing back out for some rust repair. Amp rubs a little, so I am spacing the passenger seat up roughly 3/8”. Can’t wait for the legendary buckets to get here.

also changed the name of the title.. I don’t think I’ll get my stage 2 heads done for a long time.

Are you having Legendary restore your Buicks seats?
    Does Legendary offerer new buckets?

    The old or new?

    Old Wheels:
    Front- 18x9 with 5.75” backspace
    Rear- 18x11 with 6 7/8” BS (I ran a 1/8” spacer)
I am unsure of offset on these, but imagine there is.

    New Wheels:
Front 18x9 with 5” backspace and 0 offset
Rear: 18x10 with 5.5” backspace and -6 offset

On both wheels I am running a 275/35/18 on the front, on the rear 315/30/18. I have not installed the new rears yet.

the set of old wheels are for sale…

Reason I asked, I had my 1970 Skylark GS 455 standard interior upgraded to the deluxe model. I had a bench seats and I wanted change to brand new bucket seats.
In 2021, legendary didn't make new seats only a rebuild like you got. So I bought the new buckets from CARS. They get their buckets from PUI.
I bought seat covers and head rest covers from Legendary. It all came out very good. The only problem I ran into is the buckets leaned to far back. We were able to add (stack on top) a second set of rubber bumper seat stops.
    That worked out very good.
Just some info I wanted to pass along. Vet (Navy)

I’d try and work out a deal for a v8 guy. Shipping is going to be tough though

I did get the car running again with a makeshift exhaust. The lifters bled down but should come around. The output shaft seal leaks as well, going to have to address that. It went into first and reverse on stands. My new project is making the exhaust work. I am really particular about tailpipes. My TA 2.5” pipes rub the upper control arm and coil overs. The below pic has approximately and 1/8” of clearance. I think I am going to trim the tip up to tuck it in, but haven’t made that decision yet.

exhaust setup: TA Shorties and 3” downpipes, 3” $125 “White brand” x-pipe. 2.5” spintech mufflers with 2.5” TA tailpipes
