https://classiccars.com/listings/vi...ional&utm_campaign=buyer-inquiry-confirmation I emailed seller, he is helping the owner sell a bunch of cars ( I think he had 9 currently listed for sale with many more to come), he says this one has numbers matching engine and transmission. I didn't ask about other Stage 1 parts.

Shoot I wonder if this is the car I was bidding on in 2016 la Mecum show I was at 40 and stopped bidding I'm going to try and look at it Friday
Wow Dang I can't believe it The car was clean original car I was underneath it at the auction and all over it I had just sold my TA there and had the funds but I just couldn't do it ..... It was a rush believe me. Couple of months later Chris would find me my bamboo cream car. My Pops had a green stage 1 back in the day so I always wanted one too.
It basically was an original car that was driven and enjoyed with normal road wear but was complete and a California no rust stage car.
I would like to see that original 2-page window sticker. Very cool. So when one of you guys buys this car, post it up! Oh, and call me crazy but I really like that it still retains the correct side moldings. Are they attractive? No, but it's cool to see a Stage 1 car that didn't have them removed. Also can see that it was sold new in California. In this photo from the Mecum auction we can see the outline of the extra emissions sticker was still visible and the hoses to the charcoal canister can be seen, as well as the relocated washer reservoir.
