Hi folks, I have a GM Canada documented real Stage 1 for sale. It is mechanically restored including balanced, blueprinted & dyno-run 500 hp 462 by D&D Performance in Ontario which is believed to be the original motor (numbers missing due to decked block). Many performance upgrades including 1 7/8 headers, 3 exhaust, bullet-proof 3:73 12-bolt with 30 spline Strange axels & posi, TA girdle, BFG drag radials, 10 ATI Treemaster, 950 HP carb, ported & port matched SP1, orig ported heads, 238/248 (290-08H) TA cam, TA 1.60 roller rockers and the list goes on. Have some original pieces including factory intake, 730 cfm carb (#7040426), dual snorkel breather assembly etc. Car has new black interior, new suspension, new brakes, rebuilt 70 BB trans from another Stage 1 etc. This is an original code 19 black paint car with 13 year old paint that shows well. This is also a non-air car with buckets & console, F41, front discs & factory gauges plus the chrome, glass & grill are in great shape. Needs engine compartment and undercarriage cosmetics plus the trunk and ds floor pan have been repaired. This is not a show car but a very nice & fast driver. The car is on the east coast of Canada (Newfoundland) and the price is $19,900 US. 709-753-9389 Thanks.
Hey Guys.In regards to the "Rules" above I am posting a thread about Franks car in "The Bench" Later,Tony.
Yep, not too many Buicks around here for sure....a couple of turbo cars but that's about it. Car is plenty fast....ran 12.2 prior to headwork & upgraded cam & carb etc.
Frank, why don't you send it out here to Fort McMurray to your cousins. Lots of disposable income out here and guys are always looking for things to spend it on. Everyone except me that is. Finally got my dream garage and now I can't afford to put anything in it. :ball: Brian
Yea I heard the guys working in that neck of the woods do quite well to say the least. I think half my hometown are in Fort McMurray
Hey Frank. If you consider a trip across our great land (Hey I love my country!!).You will have to stop by my place, not too far from the Trans Canada Hiway.I will trade you a beer for a burnout!! :Brow: Keep in touch Bud!! Later,Tony.
Sounds like a plan Tony.....gas gets cheaper as you head west so that could work out......although that 950hp is a tad thirsty
Frank I live near London ON and was considering using D&D for future Buick machine work on my 455's. What were they like to deal with ,quality of work and would you deal with them again? Honest feedback appreciated Thanks
Hey Rich, I think I used to talk to you quite a bit in the early 90's. I worked at Eastown Chev-olds and if you are who I think you are, you worked at Bell, had a GN and a 72 GSX? How are ya? Todd
Hi Todd You are correct. I see your posts all the time. Have you ever bought a Buick,if not do it! Rich
I'm workin on it Rich. If you hear of any in this neck of the woods that isn't rotten, let me know! Sorry to hijack this thread! Todd
