Says it’s for winter driving and not towing and yet the second set of wheels aren’t “driven” so how does that work? Just some nut decided to make something weird, in that he succeeded!

Hmmm...Just read the other thread. So; it's supposedly to help traction in winter. The Germans have a wonderful word for this, "Quatsch". Wouldn't help one iota. With as many semis as I see spin out on icy roads, that's a load of hooey.
So for towing extra weight. Uh huh; - sure, a little more believable. However it's a bumper pull, and they don't make heavy trailers that would require a set of dualies that pull from the bumper. Anything that heavy would pull the frame apart. So the weight thing isn't plausible either. Maybe it was that truckers are bored and uncomfortable in their Peterbuilts, and they would prefer a Buick that handles like a truck instead. Sure, I could see that; - but just like the article said, - no market. Can't see people falling all over themselves to get at this.
So; - it's branded as "rare". Yup; very true. Only one known. But, and this is a big but like mine, with no provenance or verifiable history this falls into the "Rare but nobody cares" category.
There's one born every minute. I wish him all the best with the sale.
