https://offerup.com/item/detail/a76fa4a1-e9b3-380c-a0e9-043c9faeaeba? 1971 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible 77557 original miles Crank shaft rotates, i.e., engine is not frozen but it has not been started. Will most likely turn over but will at least need fluids flushed and new battery before testing. Has been stored for 13 years but was running fine before being parked. Found rust in the trunk. To my knowledge, only thing not original is the radio. Happy to answer any questions.
Yes on the wheels 14 inch. Look like Oldsmobile though. Somebody’s gonna get a good deal on a convertible.
See another grey one in worse condition going for almost the same price. I could drive this as is with a good wash and wax.
A wise move to put it on eBay for bids rather than doing offerup at $5500. It's up to $8,800 now and I expect it will go much higher. Pulling it out of the building for a few hours of cleaning and some high-quality photos would likely yield thousands more than it will get with the current photos. I do understand that not every seller has the time, ability, or interest in that effort. This might still end up as a fair deal for a buyer.
The car is getting some extra exposure thanks to barnfinds.com. https://barnfinds.com/drop-top-disc...7ZAnqjOdOrI5Ei-vjimpK54lSgrGRwAigljb8HtB7EBpE
Hard to believe w/those pics/description that anyone would bid that high. Someone should've scooped it up on offerup seemingly.
Reminds me of this one I picked up locally on Craigslist a few years ago that had sat unused for some time. Cleaned it up, added some 15" Rally's and new rubber, took care of some maintenance issues, had a good top and interior, and even the AC was cold, drove it for as few years and flipped it for 15k which was all the money just a few years ago, I can't believe the $ crappy base Skylarks and Cutlasses bring these days, this one was no trailer queen but a decent driver, probably 20k + in todays world...
