    Clean!!

I'll always shake my head at the license plate covers. At least he's not covering it with his ugly ingrown nail thumb.

Interesting that's the original color combo. Looks like it was a nice car to start w/. Not crazy about the wheels/tires selection.

Sweet fancy moses. Is that a fair price? Very similar to my car, thats why I'm asking. Mine is a custom with the deluxe interior though. Otherwise it's a skylark converted to a BBB and a 4 speed. I figured I'd be lucky to fetch 12-14k for it..

I guess it depends on how well the car is done. It took @Basketball Sam awhile to sell his but it did sell & presumably in the $30's so it's possiblya matter holding out for the right buyer. Was a rust-free buckets/console car to start w/ & very well executed/sorted out street/ strip (11's IIRC) car. This car looks like it was also a very nice orig. car to start w/ & looks to be well done. Price seems a bit high to me but hard to tell w/o seeing it & knowing what was done to the engine/drivetrain & who did it. No mention of what trans/rear is in it. I do kinda like it despite the seemingly odd color combo. I'd like it a little more @ $18k-20k.

I recently found a very clean post sedan body shell & if I didn't have other projects, thought it would be neat to build a car out of but would probably be better off w/something like this to start off with.

I didn't - I said I like it @ about ½ the price and there were lots of qualifiers in my post. Never saw Sam's car & haven't seen this one. Just saying that it's possible for a well executed clone to bring good $ & that it depends on a lot of factors.

I think this one sold on Bring a trailer not too long ago. I liked it then but would def change the wheels out.....

I don't mind the rims. The tires are all wrong..

Wow, I've been toying the thought of moving one or both of mine, if this is the kind of money big block 4 speed skylarks are bringing, that decision might get easier. I'd be interested to know what it actually sells for.

All that said, looks like a pretty nice car (from the pics anyway)

We are in the same boat, although I have no plans to sell. I'm not sure I could turn 28k away though...

Good question...open air induction? Outside air induction?
