I am selling this 1972 Skylark for a friend. The car is very straight. It was race preped to run in sportsman class, which is just a stock style class. It has a locker posi rear with 4:11 drag slicks, pizza cutter tires on front. Good Glass. It has a 454 chev in it. Yes I know, wanted to kill him when he did that. I had 4 455's he could have used. Anyway the 454 dropped the oil pickup tube in the middle of a pass and lost oil pressure. it is making some bearing noise. so the bottom end needs gone through. it has th400 with stock stall the car ran 8.50's in the 1/8 at 3000ft elevation. It also comes with a 2800 stall converter not installed. This car would make a great starter. the vinyl top is in very bad shape but does not appear to be that bad underneath(meaning rust) bumpers are all in great shape. the car is located in Madras Oregon for $1800 OBO.
