This 1972 Buick Skylark Custom is a special order car from the Buick factory in Burnished Bronze, paint code 77 – as documented on the build sheet and trim plate. The entire body has been professionally stripped, block-sanded, repainted, and clear coated. The paint is beautiful. The interior is two tone sandalwood vinyl and black carpet with faux woodgrain trim accents, all mostly original. Under the hood is a Buick 455 V8 that includes TA Performance Stage 1 SE aluminum heads massaged by Jim Weise, an early casting Edelbrock B4B aluminum intake, TRW forged aluminum pistons, a TA Performance 284-88H camshaft, a 800CFM Quadrajet built by Cliff Ruggles, and a tuned GM HEI ignition. Power is transferred through a TH400 (with shift kit) to an 8.5” 10-bolt GM rear differential with 3.42 limited slip. Drivetrain has less than 6,000 miles on it. Entire brake system and fuel system has recently been overhauled with new components. Options and extras include power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, three-spoke steering wheel, tachometer, four electric auxiliary gauges, stealthy LED taillights, dual sport mirrors, and front and rear sway bars. The car is well sorted and is a great cruiser with plenty of power on tap.

The oil pan gasket and pinion seal both have oil seepage. Sale includes a set of low mileage Mickey Thompson 275/50 Street ET's mounted on 15" wheels.

Located in Moses Lake, WA. Asking $28,500.
May consider trade for Datsun 240Z in similar condition.

Glwts. Looks like an outstanding car at a reasonable price. Wish I didn’t have a project in the works.

Beautiful Skylark! All it needs is a set of headers and a ratchet shifter. If it was located in the southeast I’d jump on it as a great street/strip cruiser.
