I'm in the process of getting a carb from everyday performance, but my car is missing a choke thermostat, anyone know where I can find one of these, I checked autozone and advance with no success any ideas? My engine is a 1972 455 with stock intake thanks!
Might find a good used one here, post an ad in "Parts Wanted". They occasionally surface on E-Bay. Gr. 3.750 # 7042190 is the part you are looking for. You should see the 190 stamped on the cover but be careful. '70-'71'-'72 all have different mounting hole layouts.

'72 & '73 455 pieces are the same. Can't confirm the bolt pattern on the E-bay piece as I've seen only '71 chokes.
