Cruise control wasn't avail. w/a 4-sp. so one &/or the other was added. Odds are it was the 4-sp. (would be one of around 60 made if not). Still, besides the now hole in the hood (assuming not factory since the clock isn't a Rallye clock), overall seems like pretty a nicely done car though. At least the emblems appear to be straight.

I'd like to see Sloan docs on it. Something about Johnnie's just doesn't smell right either but that's pure speculation. Heck of a studio for a small single outlet dealer. Every vehicle I clicked on has the same description. $76k for '70 LS6 seems cheap, esp. for a dealer, but idk.

Yea really nice car, if it’s real 4 speed and born Black it’s way under priced. I would love to see documents and trim tag.

"Way under priced" for a 350 car may be a bit overstated but yes, would be a decent deal although for me the spoiler & hood tach would be deal killers.

This is super fishy, pictures from RK motors, then Dealership in Oklahoma selling it but in Sioux City Iowa CL…….hmmmmmm…..I’m gonna call them and see. Their website says they are a consignment shop.

Looks like most Johnnie's pics (all the listings I clicked on) were from that studio.

Edit - They're all from RK's studio. Scammer. I messaged "Johnny" for a pic of the trim tag/VIN & said I wanted to come see/buy the car, lol.

Yeah...70 Mustang, split window Vette. I don't know that much (still learning), but everything to me looked low in price. Even the hardtop 72 GS is priced higher.

Well, Johnie sent me the following so...

Orig. Covert Tan w/Green Top and according my super duper decoder ring, 130 Trim Code corresponds to to 240 Green Notchback bench on the '72 order form. If I had money to burn, I'd order a Sloan Report to see if it's a real 4-sp. car.

I noticed the color difference when I looked at the RK pictures that BUQUICK posted the link above. It shows a few pictures of the car before the restoration and some documentation sheets

I mean still looks like a nice ride from pictures, but still seems very shady.

Interesting. Shows is was a 4-sp. back then & still with the wrong boot, etc. (which looks newer than anything else) & I think what looks like cruise so I'd still stay prob. not an orig. 4-sp car but...

Edit: Saw the Sloan there & I stand corrected - It is an orig. 4-sp car.

Orig. 4-sp. w/AC, Disk Brakes, 15x7, F41, gauges/tach. Was a very neat car orig. I'd feel compelled to restore it to orig., lol.

Swap out to a white top

This GS is a very rare special GS 350 4 speed convertible. too bad it has been incorrectly restored.

It is a shame that people do not respect their cars, restore them incorrectly, change and add anything they want, that in the end, ruin and devalues the car.

Dano, please buy it and restore her to her proper glory.
