    Hello,

It seems my carburetor isn't functioning the way it should.
    72 350 GS.
When idling at a light, it starts running rough and conks out.
I am not at all mechanical, so I will just have a mechanic do it, but since parts are hard to come by and take time to ship, I figure I'd just order it and bring to him. I am open to any suggestions. I wonder if I am best buying a new one, refurbished one or have mine rebuilt. My car is completely stock.

While I am at it, I need an original AM radio or AM/FM stereo.
I bought a beautiful looking AM off EBAY, but turns out that it did not work

    Thanks for your help.
    Jim.

Thank You Jason, I appreciate you helping me out.
I happened to see this after I posted.
Not sure if the 69 model is best for me, but I am thinking about it.
    Jim.

You can have lots of places rebuild it with new guts. I did this and had a radio converted from AM to AM/FM and added an aux port to it. Sounds awesome.
