Could very well be a legit car. 17 of these 72 GSX cars were exported to places other than Canada. Lousy pictures and even worse information.
Don't know if it is the real deal? In the mid eighties I had the opportunity to buy one up here in Canada that was one of 2 built. The other one was possibly in California and heard it might of been wrecked at some point. Should have bought it when it was offered to me at $3500 in solid original condition . It was red with black interior. Just didn't know how rare it was at the time. Last I heard it is still in the area.
If it was a red/black 4 speed stage 1, then it is no longer in CAN, Mike S. took it away a number of years ago.
Yes it was a 4 speed car. Heard that Armin had taken it apart and he passed away before restoring it and someone had bought it. Is Mike S. from the Northwest and has he restored the car ?
Bill V bought it from Armin, and a few years later Mike bought it from him. I believe the resto is still ongoing.
Also Wrong wheels and black center caps and the headlight doors are not supposed to have that much chrome showing.
That's my old 72 Stratomist GS-350. Wound up selling it on Ebay and it got bought by some dude in Kuwait
Does Bryan Browns Orange w/Black Vynal top 1972 GSX from Cali still exist. (how many of that combination were made) Does he still own it and does he still own his 70 and 71 GSXs ?
The guy is currently in the states. I emailed him to see if he knew the guy with my old blue one. Im hoping that I don't get placed on the terrorist watch list now emailing dudes in Kuwait and visiting all these sites in the middle east . ou: Saying kind of tongue in cheek, but the thought did cross my mind
