Nice car, asking way too much , in my opinion. About 1 1/2 hrs south of me. Don't know how to link it. Listed as manual trans, which is incorrect.

Does look like a garage kept clean car.
Not my favorite color, but I wouldn't say way too much.
Could be a sleeper, the seller with "0" feedback though and not much
description. Maybe $6500 for an asking price, if it runs as good as it looks?:Do No:

Too much, I dont think so. Looks like original int. and possibly paint. If so then thats a bargain. Go try to paint a car, build an engine and put new interior in it for less than 6 grand.
If you were restoring a 72 GS you would be way ahead of the game buying this car for sheet metal and misc pieces alone.

Here is my 72 skylark 37xxx mile all original car, I have priced it out for 13 grand and will not take a dollar less. They are not making anymore so if you are actually in the market then this car is a good buy at 7500.

The cool thing about this car is that you would not have to be afraid to drive it. Put a gs hood and badges and no one would really know any different. :TU:

    David,
After taking a second look, I agree with you, it is a pretty good price.
Assuming there are no major mechanical issues.
The seller could have been a bit more descriptive.

I definitly agree that his ad is not going to help him get top dollar for this car.

Kevin, the quickest, easiest way to put a link in a post is to(assuming you have a PC and not a Mac) is to go up to the web address window/bar and click once, which should highlight in blue the whole address, no matter how long. Then, with the mouse cursor right over that highlighted address, right click with the mouse, and a little drop down window should show up. Left click on copy....
Then, wherever you want in this message window right click again, dropdown window shows up click paste, and the copied address should appear as below.

This site turns it right into a clickable link.

    hope that helps!

I think that it's a good starting bid as long as there's no major drivetrain issues or major rot,it is a nice looking car going by the pictures.:TU:

Thanks for the info, HECTIC. I guess nobody agreed with his opening bid. Why is it whenever people tell me that the price is resonable , there is never anyone on the planet who agrees AND wants to buy it? Not a single bid.:Do No:

There was no bid because 95% of ebayer's are cheap asses they want to pay nothing for concourse quality parts.

Over the years it does seem like it has declined to less than 10 % of cars for sale end up meeting reserve unless it's an unusually nice or rare car. I'm just going by what I see in the Buick section, don't know about the Chevy and others.
    Don't go there!
