Just looked at this emerald green skylark. White vinyl top and interior. Supposedly it was owned by a little old lady that died recently. I saw some original paperwork in the glove box. Has a build date 9/71. It had the metal screen covering the cowl area instead of the plastic more commonly seen on 72's. P.S. P.B. 350-2. Factory AM radio. Baby moon caps.
Asking price was $4k, at least it was on Monday when I talked to them, I am sure that after Jerry beat them up they have come down. Of course, we all know that if it could be had for a song, it would be singing in Jerry's garage right now. You say "supposedly" Jerry, do you think the story about it being her mother's old car, and that her mother bought it when it was a year or two old, and that she was in her 80's when she died a couple of years ago, isn't true? I can't believe someone would make up something like that just to sell a car. Seriously though, how did it look?
Geez, what can I say to that... :spank: The car was ok. It was solid with a few scrapes here and there. She said someone offered her 3k for the car. I told her that she should take it. Personally I couldn't get excited about it. o No: Maybe it was the baby moons.
