Is the 73 hood with the vent at the rear a one year only hood ? Thanks for the help!

Thanks, I saw that ad and few others! From what I can tell 75’s don’t have the vent!? 73-74 do!? Just looking for confirmation that 73-74 with vent are the same or different ! Want the correct one ! Need a 73 for sure if there is any difference ! I don’t have parts books for those years! Darn it’

that hood is correct for 73 and 74 for sure, I don't think that 75 had the louvers, at least that I have seen. Eat your Wheaties before you pick that son-of-a gun up.

Ok thanks! They should have a disclaimer with Buick hoods it’s a 2 man 3 man or 4 man hood ! lol

3 man for sure, and it still a struggle to get the bolts started and holding it with one hand. It would help if I were taller!

I did it with one other person the other day on this 1973 Century Regal when we swapped the engine.
But we are very tall Dutchmen...:p:D
(protect the windscreen, when the bonnet slips it will not go through the glass)

Standard 1973 5 mph safety bumper.
The one on the 1973 Riviera is even bigger:

Here's someone who removed the shock absorbers from his 1973 Century and placed the bumper directly on the chassis.
But now the sides of the bumper are covering the marker lights:

But it makes an outstanding tool ledge.

That looks like a mid 60's Ford hood scoop!

We're not sure where or what it's from, it came with the car when the current owner bought it.
It's not functional either, there's no hole in the bonnet.

Yes, it also looks the same from the rear, if I look at this eBay listing:

I'm proud to say I can remove and install a hood by myself on a 74 LeSabre no less. Granted the LeSabre did not have a paint job that I was super concerned about. If you care about the paint, then 2 people min for sure.
