Those wheels should easily sell....check the parts wanted section. Check the car for a p.trunk set-up.
OK V-8 Buick People: Here in Northern California it would be impossible to rescue this type of car. Why? because these yards are owned by people who like to get others when they are down. Good will? That concept gives these people an extreme headache, nausea add can even induce severe dysentery. A close friend of mine has a brother with a pick a part wrecking yard addiction. My friend has related stories that would send everybody home in disgust. In my years in the car business I dealt with wrecking yards who's counter people were knowledgeable and friendly. They delivered the correct parts at a surprisingly competitive price and they were the ones who properly removed the part. If there was an old school part they had that I needed, no problem, I usually got it either on the house or cheep. I loved to go to the self serve yards when they opened up in this area back in the mid 80's. It was extreme torture for me then ( love-hate) because they had the kind of cars we all go ga ga over. The did the usual tricks then too....the cars were tortured during the unloading and staging process, parts were destroyed because the picker was too lazy to unscrew two screws, they wouldn't sell cars because of reasons that wouldn't satisfy a corpse and of course, nothing has changed......except for the fact that most of us love going to wrecking yards. Need both+ a whole shell of the car, mines pretty well rusted. Should just scrap it but it still runs and drives and as you well know once bitten by the boatail bug hard to let go. Been off work 20 out of 24 months just going back tomorrow. Price on door? Might be able to swing something by end of month:Brow: Be out of town till weekend
