I was looking at a nova for sale, and this buick sitting in the back of a parking lot caught my eye. It appears to be undriveable, trunk full of "stuff", body is really good for its age, and a 'Stage 1" air cleaner in slightly rusty but good overall shape in the drivers seat. How much should I offer the owner?

Difficult "Stage" Hi Pat, Yeh, I got the PM on the 73 (actually we have more than one) but the owner is private about his cars so I am honoring his wishes. I may end up with one of them he has said "Down the road" and if I do I'd be happy to supply that information at that time. I wish... it appears that the guy is working on it or something... black spray paint is all inside the engine bay, and a beer can is behind the passenger side headlight.
Sounds like he is a professional... I know a guy who bought a 74 gs 455/4 with suncoupe from the same guy i bought my stage1 from. I went and took a visit to the car, and for an all numbers matching car with alot of option plus in a helluva lot better shape than mine, he is already doin to hillybilly restore on it. Spray paint everywhere, crackle can blue all over the car and a nice yellow on the fan shroud. He needs to sell the car to me!
