Those really handled well. Drove my Dad's '73 Salon in high school, it was great. Wished it was a little faster tho....

That does look to be a good deal Brian, I really like these cars and have had several, if it was closer maybe....Unfortunately this will probably be rollin' on 26's in Hotlanta by the weekend.

Olds 350. Not corporate until I believe '77 in the Olds 88.

Nice looking car. I had several Salons back in the day and really liked them. The driver seat in this one looks quite broken down and listing to port, though.

Also Buicks' Pontiacs and Cads, maybe Chevy. Cad people were pissed when they got a Chevy engine!
Had a 77 Estate Wagon with olds engine and had 79 Pontiac with Buick engine.

Years ago I thought a friend had a 73 Cutlass with a 5 speed transmission. Anyone know if that was a option?

IIRC, the 5-speed didn't come along until '76 or '77, and then only with the 260 V8.

Okay thanks. Probably not too many made with that drive train. :)

There’s a Guy on the olds site who has one of the five speed cars. 260 swapped out for 455 olds.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

I have fond memories for that 260. I had one of those a LONG time ago, in the ugly green color (mint?) and that engine was weak, but bullet proof.
