    1979 Buick in good shape needs engine work
    Lether interior
    V6 Turbo(turbo is in good condition)
    REALLY REALLY FAST CAR
    HAS LOW MILAGE FOR A 79
    The car is a great project car it was just overhauled when i bought it and i only drove it for 6 months i had to go to school and now i have to sell it if you are intrested email me at Chefjustin@sbcglobal.net i am willing to work with the price if you have cash up front.

    There is no such thing as a 79 GN. First year was 82, last year was 87.

    I was thinking about that, and I hoped someone had a straight answer by just looking at it. Was there a turbo engine in '79?

    '78+ Turbo Regals

    Yes, you could get a carburated turbo starting in '78. Slow car compared to the efi ones. I think the 4 barrel turbo cranked out 165 horses. You could also get a 2 barrel.
