    RegalSC1980 Buicks are awesome!

I am selling a very rare Buick Regal. Not to many people fix up one for show or racing. So i consider this car to be very rare and very interesting to people who stop and check it out. I've shown this car at many car shows and have won numerous trophies with it. Bought the car back in 1994 and re-done it in 1999 with a new engine, paint, tires, etc.

    - asking $5,000 O.b.o.

    - location: Wapakoneta, Ohio, USA

    - 400 Chevy small block
    - 4bbl Holley 750cfm carb.

    - 350 turbo transmission

    - B&M Shift Kit installed

    - new chrome wheels

    - 5 year old paint

    - tinted windows

    - new dual exhaust

    - engine is all chromed up
    - no rust ( never seen rust... has been Zeibarted )
    - the original 3.8 Litre turbo engine sells with the car ( needs the turbo's rebuilt)

    - interior is in excellent shape, no rips or tears in seats or dashboard

    - new air shocks

    - new brakes

    - lots and lots of new parts have been added

    - been showed at many car shows

The car is in GREAT shape. Always stored inside a dry garage in the summer, and also stored in a garage in the winter. Its jacked up off the floor to reduce flattening in the tires. No rust in the body. The rear bumper has some slight rust pits on the top portion and a small dent. That can be replaced though and/or re-chromed. Minor paint scratches are also on the car, but most aren't visible to the eye. The engine compartment is very clean, but could be made alot better with more time.

This is all i can think of to write... please ask me any questions. :)

Sure there are regal fans. I like the early carbed turbo cars personally, but most could care less when they could have a fuel injected 84 up GN or Ttype. They dont command much money right now. I think one day they will be worth something though. Also most people dont want to go through the trouble of pulling out the chevy motor to put the buick motor back in. Most people on this board are going to want it to be buick powered.

If it had the original 3.8 turbo installed, and it was restored perfectly down to the correct hose clamps, date codes, paint colors, etc in the engine bay, you would have more interest.

I say keep driving it, its gotta be a fun car and im sure it gets some attention. Looks nice.

Hello from down in Middletown to a fellow Buckeye!
Worked with a guy from Wapock years ago.
Hometown to Neil Armstong! Famous city at least here in Ohio.
Anyway that's a lot of car for $5000. Even if it does have a Chevy engine.
If I didn't already have one too many I'd be tempted. I'd say it's a lot of fun to
    drive too.

Hey from Fort Wayne. I used to drive thru Wapakoneta all the time on my way to Columbus for work. Good looking Regal! I dont think that year has gained the popularity it deserves. Give it a little more time on the board you may get some more interest. A side note my Daily Driver is a Honda Accord with 160k, just getting broke in! How long have you worked for Honda?

thanks for the comments guys! and yeah its been hard trying to find someone interested in the car even tho it has a Chevy engine.. the original 3.8 litre turbo engine is still in my ownership tho, but it needs to have the engine rebuilt or the turbo rebuilt since the oil pump went out when my brother was driving it one day. this happened about 10-11 years ago or so. So whoever wants to purchase the car, the turbo engine and tranny goes with it if they wish.

Hi Bill! Nice to hear u own a honda... even tho i work there i dont own a honda vehicle..lol ive been there almost 2 years now working in the engine plant located in Anna, OH. Accords are nice cars and they seem to last a long time!
