OK, so it's not a part and it's not a car so I wasn't sure where to put this post....but, for sale is this 1982 Honda "Urban Express" 50 c.c. scooter.Black and chrome in color and is in excellent original condition-100% original...1500 miles and street legal-goes up to 30 mph. 2-stroke with oil-injector... This is the perfect pit bike as it starts on the first kick and runs like a swiss watch. Chrome has light to medium pitting and the original tires have some sidewall cracking, but it runs and rides so nice that I don't think I'd do anything to it.....seat and paint are perfect. Priced at $400 firm and located at our spot in Athens, Ohio-Southeastern Ohio. Thanks!! Chris
uh - so do ya' think burton machine could turbo that "bad motor scooter" ??? ( i smell a new class coming up for the nat's ! ) thats a nice one , and at $3.00 a pop i'd be usin' it around town etc too ! del
Chris...I would assume, since there are no shifter levers, that HONDA has an AUTOMATIC clutch system? AND a title too? Would you be willing to bring it to Hebron in a few weeks? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Hey Dennis.....yep, it has an automatic clutch....just twist the throttle and she goes, and yes it does have a clear Ohio title. I'd really rather not have the thing sit here till August as we're tight on room in the barn with mowing/hay season here....sorry.....normally no problem, but we're up to our butts in mowers and equipment out there Joe.....i'm sure that any of the motorcycle shipping outfits would ship it for you....we used Allied all the time... alliedmotorcycleshipping.com give them or any other outfit a try....no idea on what it would be.... Thanks fellas...let me know...it's a real nice little machine, you won't be disappointed!:TU:
Gee Chris....I am a bit dissappointed...the BPG Nats is in July...only a few weeks away, and George could bring it home for me...uzzled: I was ready to send you payment too. oh well... sounds like your decision has been made.
Sorry Dennis.....if it would have been just a week or two, no problem, but it is almost 8 weeks from now and I'm just afraid that something would fall over on it or knock it over and than i'd be in a pickle.....believe me, if I had a safe space for it it'd not be a problem....just being honest here
OK Dennis, here's an idea.....we have a rental property down the road about a half mile that has an outdoor shed where the lawn mower and yard stuff lives....I can take it over there, put it in the back corner and cover it with a plastic tarp.....if you're ok with that, than it can sit there until Columbus......sound ok?..
Chris, Joe,...heres the deal..if my buddy George...I DID say "IF" he can bring it back with him from the BPG Nats...YEA I'll buy it! I asked George what his plans are and he tells me he MIGHT drive onto Chicago to see his Bro..IF that turns out to be the case, I wont burden him with keeping this Honda safe in the back of his p/u truck for two weeks. PLEASE give me two days to discuss with George and confirm his plans. JOE, by Friday morning if I cant work some'n out, ITS YOURS! Fair nuff?? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
cutting hay already????? jeeze-a-loo!! we just got done seeding here.......and then got most flooded out with 6 inches of water on the fields
Chris put me in line and I have no idea why. When Dennis and Joe figure out what they are doing let me know.Me and Steve will make the road trip if lunch is involved. Tom
Can you pm me the imparticulars on where it is(address)and i'll try to get a shipping price. Naturally if Dennis passes.
Chris....I spoke to George today. He's up for the delivery plan so I pm'd you regarding payment. :TU: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
