I'm trying to put together the parts to change over my 68 Skylark to front discs. I have the spindles and one rotor that can be turned and one caliper for a core. If anyone has a turnable rotor and a single piston caliper that is for a core please let me know. If you have the mounting bolts for the caliper that would be a plus. Also the castle nuts and washers for both hubs.

    Thanks
    Keith

  3. i have seen talk about using the set ups from an s10 pick up.
my motor went out in my 93 and is sitting here now,
looking to sell a few parts from it
if you want to do something like this please do a bit of resurch on the v8 here and let me know if it is something you want to do
i have 14 inch steel rally's on it from a skylark as well
the centers where taken from it already
someone needed them more than me of course

Greg, Thanks for the offer. I have the setup for the Abody already started. When I took the setup apart one had a spun bearing that wiped out three threads next to the outer bearing area and scored the "cone" some. I can buy a new spindle but am trying to find one here first. Same with the brake rotor, one side can be turned the other is too grooved to machine. There was only one caliper and one set had no nut or keyed washer.

For your parts I think that I read a thread that used the serpentine pully setup from a s-10 on a BBB. You might search that.

    Thanks
    Keith

You could try a junk yard.

Truzi, I have called a few around here. Not much luck. I will buy new if nothing surfaces. I will not start disassembling the car until fall.

    Thanks
    Keith
