While surfing just now came upon this place in Florida that has what looks to be a couple of nice '72 Sun Coupes and '70 GS 455 convertible. One of the Sun Coupes is a 4 spd. http://www.transamdepot.com/showroom-other.html Not mine, no affiliation, etc....
That GS 350 4 spd Suncoupe is the only documented 4 spd in existance . It has been at BG 2 times and was for sale here for 25K for a while .
The convertible is listed on eBay with a Buy It Now of $42,000. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970...1QQihZ007QQcategoryZ16124QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
for a min. I really thought the convertible was my old one as it looks just like the one I had a short time ago. I like the suncoupes. I have owned a few suncoupes and I always liked them. People trip out on them when they see them as they are not the everyday classic car. very rare but a royal pain in the a$$ if you dont get someone good to do the top. Mine allways gave me problems
I thought that 70 GS455 convertible looked familiar....... I was thinking that it was the same one as on eBay but not sure.....nice car though...... Where are all these brown-on-brown 70 GS455 convertibles coming from?????? I always thought they were nice but not so popularou: Lon
Why does the '70 GS Conv. have bench seat headrests instead of the molded bucket seat headrests? I probably answered my own question (someone switched them), but it looked odd.
