Do you think a stock 200-r4 would stand up for a while in my skylark with a stock low comp 350? I have a pretty heavy right foot, and tires dont seem to last to long out back. My turbo 350 didnt want to play anymore so I thought now would be a good time to go to a over drive trans but dont have the coin to build one. This wouldnt be too long term, just untill I can get some money to build one. I would put a trans cooler on it to help take some of the abuse. Let me know what you think. Thanks Gary

I have a stock 200-4R in my 69 Sport Wagon with a 3.42 axle, and it has done a GREAT job for the 25K it has been in the car. :3gears: :3gears:

Coan does conversions on the stock converters. I'm running a Grand National stocker and am happy with it.

How much gear are you running out back?

I have 3.73, I wanted to put a stall converter in it so it would be happy with the cam in my other motor
