The best show in town. Excellent time.....as usual. Always good to see folks...just a really great crowd and I'll say, those Three Rivers guys know how to barbecue! :TU: So no car for you Tom.... Nice to see the 300 Deeeeluxe..never seen those emblems before..neat stuff. Thumbs up to Rusty for driving so far. And Peterson's car running low et....down to earth guy with a blistering Max Wedge. Too bad the Judge was a standard RAIII car instead of the RAIV top engine option. would have been at least 3-5 tenths quicker.
As usual, a SUPER event! Was GREAT seeing all my friends again, and introducing the old man to 'em. He even made his quickest pass to date in the car! He said the ride wasn't as violent as his funny car, but still fun!! Many thanks to Bob & Dan! We should all be appreciative of the sacrifices those 2 (and their volunteers!) make...I mean, can you imagine putting the race all together, then NOT racing? Amazing. My car went 12.48 and qualified #8 Got paired with Tony Goodman and his Black firebird . His car runs !!
