Real '71 GSX - 350, bench seat/auto. I could’ve bought this car in 1987 for $4500. It was beautiful at that time. Always wondered what happened to it. Was talking to its current owner about bringing a part to BG for me last week. We got to talking about cars & figured out this was that same car from back then.
It had been repainted sometime before '87 - I have no idea if or how much bodywork had been done. The person that bought it then (not its current owner) at some point let it sit outside for a few years.
Good I hope they get production up so much the market becomes oversaturated. Actually, all buyable goods need to be "overproduced".
That’s a shame had to sit outside doesn’t look like it will take a lot to bring it back to perfection.
I get why people are hung up on bucket seats but there’s nothing like kicking ass on your living room couch.
Talked to Lassiter today & he was very pleased/surprised with the turnout. Said the track rental had gone up considerably.
