Hey everyone-I don't know if this is the right forum, but I hope so.I am wondering if someone may know where I can buy headers for my 231 V6.I have this engine in my Jeep CJ, and the current "outside the fender" headers are in the way of my steering column shaft.I need a set of "shortys" I believe, or something that hugs the block, that I can connect my own exhaust to.Does anyone know where I can find something like this, not much luck so far.Thanks! have you tryed summit racing and jegs i have seen some on ebay also do you have an odd fire or even fire,what year engine the head year might change what you can use
Thanks Alec,I have looked at those in the past, I'll check again.The engine I have is the even fire.The motor is between a 78 and a 81, I probably need to be more specific, but for some reason I believe it to be a 1980.As far as ebay, havent seen any yet, but still looking.Thanks for the input though, someone must have them.
I see headers for a 231 Buick in a jeep all the time on E-bay. I just type in buick v6 and hit the search button. Good luck
Pacesetter and I think Hooker make NA V6 headers that will fit a regal and classic A-body. I believe TA also has some but I don't know if they are reboxed or what.
