installing the heat tube to the exhaust manifold, does it matter which port on the exhaust manifold it goes in and what is the other for? thanks, Ken
There's a tube that runs through manifold front to back at the collector. The tube to the choke oven goes into the front and the supply from the top air horn of the carb goes to the rear. The rear tube usually has a clamp on the rear of the head and usually doesn't go bad. You may need to clean the remains of the old oven tube from the front of the manifold tube so the new one can go in.
