Does anyone have,or have made solid engine mounts for a 350? I’d like to get at least one pair if I could. I run solids on everything else. Why not this too.

A couple 1/4-20" grade bolts drilled thru mount with crimped locknuts on kitty corners to clear blk & frame mount will work very well also.

There was a set of solid mounts on the 350 I picked up a couple months back. The motor was in a stock car. They looked homemade but weren't terrible. I can have a look if they are still in my shop. You could have them for the cost of shipping to you if you want.

I c clamped the two halves together.
Then drilled through 4 holes in a square pattern and steel rods inserted and welded flush fit on both sides.

Brian Trick. I found the solid mounts in my scrap metal. They are much more crude than I remembered. They can go back in my scrap. They are two different sizes and likely don't fit an oem installation. It does give an idea of how to fab up some home made solid mounts though so I thought I would post the pictures anyway.

I emailed RJC Racing to see if their motor brace would fit a 350 in an A body. If not I’m sure one can be made. If not by them maybe someone on this board could fab them up. For my purpose it would work out better than a solid mount beings my ride will be 99% street driven drag radials could be in future but wouldn’t be an every day thing. Thoughts anyone?

My cars are street driven as much as possible. To work, occasional parades, etc. They all have solid mounts. It doesn’t bother me at all. I think I can fab these,if there aren’t anything already out there.
