Cool. Pics show that it is a reasonably good fit. When you say tight on the belt line, is that front/back, long sides or all around? Is it too tight or nicely snug? Just trying to figure out if we need to size it up and by how much or does it need more post printing clean up. I'll probably have him add at least 1mm in both dimensions.

I appreciate your testing for us and look forward to your on-car evaluation.

No worries. Front to back it fits perfect and there is actually a little bit of play there so I would not adjust that dimension at all. It is just a bit tight in the middle where it flares out on both sides. So increasing the width there by 1mm couldn't hurt, who knows what the tolerances on these mirrors we're back then.

Have you had a chance to test it on the car yet to make sure it is angled properly?

I'm actually sitting at the airport right now ready to fly home. Tampa to Dallas. Dallas to Sydney so it will take me a few days... Fingers crossed the gasket or the mirror doesn't get broken in my checked bag or my car wasn't stolen within the past month
Will report back as soon as I install it...sorry for the delay!

No worries, just trying to see if we have a product that is ready to produce for the other members needing one.

Fits good and the angle is right but for some reason I don't have a hole where the alignment nub would be.

Interesting. Is there a difference between the way they prep a sport mirror door than a chrome mirror door? It was a faithful reproduction of the gasket we started with.

Anyone else have any input on the subject? Do we really need the nub if it works otherwise?

We'll produce whatever folks feel is best.

Mine must be filled in as the car was originally equipped with a chrome mirror. I would say make it like the factory gasket and put the nub in!

Based on this, do you feel it is a production ready product? If you needed another one, would you pay for it?

To everyone else interested, where do we stand? Anyone interested in buying these with the current design widened 1 mm as HeavensDevil indicated?

I believe we can make them with or without the locating nub. Seems like it worked out for HeavensDevil without one in this instance.

Hey Greg, I would purchase one if needed. Maybe if I ever find a passenger side chrome mirror :(
I'm back to sport mirrors for now but wanted to test this for you since nobody else was stepping up. To me it is production ready, good luck!

I received them but they will not work for the chrome mirrors on my 69 GS. I was out of town from the 13th to the 22nd.
