Here is the one that Scott Miller gave me. The shape and size looks correct and the chrome finish is excellent, AL.

The HURST script is the hurdle that has not been dealt with. If anyone could solve this, then we can see things get done.

OK John, hold it down - "You Real Funny":Brow:

Seriously now, Dave is a true hero in his efforts on this. It is really a thankless task overall when he works on this stuff. He is doing 3-speed linkages now and looking at 69 Buick linkages, awesome stuff for us enthusiasts.

This may not be that popular but why not just sell the correct shape/size handle unfinished and let the purchaser decide wether to chrome it as is or have someone with a CNC machine put the HURST on it(wink, wink). There are plenty of ways to get that accomplished. Hurst has better things to do then to chase after a guy that had their name CNC'd into a shifter handle.
    I'm just ranting.

That being said I know Dave is working very hard on this 4-speed stuff for us and I'm sure he is more frustrated with it then we are.
Thanks again for all that you do Mr. Kleiner.:TU:

I spoke with Dave today and bought alot of 4 speed stuff to complete one of my cars.
Now that Mr Gasket has been bought out, Dave essentially has to start over with the New company with HURST licensing BS which I don't think is ever going to happen, far too difficult and time consuming.
He does have a few rechromed original 4 speed shifter arms as well as everything else needed, so if you need a 4 speed stuff ie shifter arm in particular ,I suggest you contact him asap before they are all gone.

That handle that Al has looks pretty close to the Buick---is that from the OLDS?
Are they identical?:Do No: As far as the HURST script,I don't think that issue
    will ever be resolved. Pete

I agree make the handle plain and then if you want to "customize it" with some letters , well its yours right? That way they can be made and still fill the need. The price on my parts just went up a little

Pete, certain year Cutlass shifters are the exact same shape/contour as the Buick shifter. Not from a 442 because it says 442 on the handle but the Cutlass handle just has an H on it.
