    Folks,

I have a 63 lesabre vert with a 401 nd three on the tree. Kanter sent me the "Stock" pressure plate and it turns out the car doesn't have the same pressure plate. Turns out I have a different flywheel and pressure plate from the rest of the world.

Two questions. Does anyone know anything about a flywheel with a step on it in 63 buicks? Does anyone need a pressure plate for a 57-79 V8? or know where I can get rid of it? Kanter has a 30 day return policy and I lost count of days!

the full size flywheels are now made of un-obtainium.
i had the same problem with postons they sent me a skylark gs flywheel
and told me it was the same.i have not yet found another one.
mine has a recessed flywheel.i assume yours does to.do you have
a 401 or the 300.if its a 401in 63 the motor has a different crank so a 64 and up wouldn't even bolt up to your motor.i know this dont help you any but :Do No:

I've got the same recessed flywheel in my '65.
I'm going to pull it and send the whole assembly to Pat @ Fort Wayne Clutch so he can rebuild the pressure plate, clutch and surface the flywheel-
Must compensate for resurfacing the flywheel.
