Does anyone know if all 401's were 325 horsepower, with 10.25 to 1 compression ratio and 445 ft lb torque?

Or did that only apply to the Wildcat motors?

If you are asking in reguards to the 401 in your Skylark GS yes it would be the same motor that was put into the "Wildcat" and "Electra 225"
Now the "Riviera" got the 425 rated at 340 hp.

NHRA tech specs. also list a 11.00:1 ratio, 332 hp GS 400 (401 cu. in.) motor available in '66. It had the Q-Jet instead of the Carter AFB, and what looks like the 425 cam. I'm guessing it was a Skylark GS only option (not Electra, Wildcat, or Riv). I've heard rumors of a limited production GS "L-76" option at other places on the net, and am guessing this was it. Any experts out there that can confirm or deny this?
