455 and Stage 1 emblems just sold

    I was always told that the 1243122 was for Pontiac. This would help explain the different pin locations. The correct 70-72 emblems will slide right into the BMD emblem holes on 350" cars. I have never seen correct NOS emblems. I paid a lot of money for used ones a long time ago.

    Looks like the ones are coming off my 31k mile 70 LeSabre. Just like NOS! Gotta love this board and i thought i had the right ones.

    1243122 shows in my price book from 74 as Buick only.

    455 fender emblems

    that is what my march 1973 book shows also. the may 1981 A body book just says, NLA ( no longer available ).

    lots of stuff did get changed over the years, never put total faith in the books.

    I just checked my parts book. (I guess I should have checked before I bought them) My parts book shows 1243122 as 73-75 Buick A body.

    Group numbers are the way GM sub catagorys their parts.
    8.147 is emblems associated with the front fenders
    Emblems associated with the rear quarters would be in a 12. something group number
