So it's a running motor with no rocker arms for $1200?

That was my thought. No valve covers or rockers. How do I know motor works. Look like stock covers, as well. Heads look like 73 by stamping in second photo, most likely motor is as well.

It's a 70 SF engine,..runs well and has good oil psi,..I pulled it out for the seller and have the car at my shop now ,..it's been rebuilt at one time very clean inside

It was painted blue after the rebuild I sprayed it red and made several corrections to the previous installation

    Possibly nothing,..no time to get to it,..but it's a big valve 462 with a KB113 sp1 and a 750 demon mech secondary carb,...headers,... enough to run mid 12s

Sir. Good evening. Before I waste your time; would shipping the engine to Oklahoma be possible?

So far so good. Ferrea valves and double springs. 20230325_112048.jpg 20230325_112217.jpg

Forgot to update, 70 Stage 1 heads. Has anyone seen big intake with small exhaust? It has "eyebrows" so factory Stage 1?

    I think that's the stage 1 normal?

The intake is 2.125 which is a Stage 1 size but the exhaust is 1.625. 1.625 is a standard 455 valve size.
    I've never seen this variation.

It's actually a good setup,..the exhaust doesn't need as much valve,...Mike Phillips done some in that configuration
