455, possibly GS or Stage 1?

Hello fellow gear heads, I'm an Olds guy who has begun to dabble with Buick cars and parts. I purchased a bunch of parts including a 455 engine in pieces that had been out in the weather for years. I've been trying to decode the numbers to see just what I have. Here's what I've found so far

Engine Block, no vin stamped in it. WF stamped in correct location for engine code. The number cast into it is 1238861

    Intake B-1238323-1

    Heads 1238148 both sides

I'm still going through boxes of parts to see if I have anything else from this motor. The search so far has come up with the WF being a 1972 GS application and the intake being a California emissions 1972 Stage 1 application. It would be cool if these really were rare parts, but as I said I'm an Olds guy dabbling in Buick territory and am not sure I'm reading this right. Any help you could provide would be appreciated. The intake and heads are off the engine. I put the intake on ebay last night, then this morning decided I needed to check out the other parts to confirm they're all 1972 pieces. Then try to figure out if they were all together when it came from the factory. If It would help identify anything I can take photos and post them on my photobucket site for you guys to view. Thanks! John

WF is a 1972 455. Could be from a GS, maybe not. There are no casting numbers that will tell you whether the motor is from a GS or an Electra. WS is the Stage1 motor. WA was the Riviera GS. The Intake is definitely a California one.
